Cabin House 1.1 is designed to incorporate both living and working under the same roof, containing the traditional living room and bedroom combo and completing it with a dedicated private study room. These additional features are designed to make the space more flexible in the long run. The living room sits in the middle of the design, designed as an open space with the included kitchen. The house has a wrap-around porch on 2 sides that control the relationship between the interior and exterior.

The kitchen, bathroom, and laundry (which can also double as a technical room) are all grouped together opposite the bedroom and study. This is a more efficient approach as it ensures that all plumbing work is reduced by placing everything together.

The plan set contains everything to get you started, from floor plans to elevations, sections, and construction information, as well as a material list. It presumes that you have previous knowledge of how wooden frame buildings come together, as the drawings are technical in nature. Most importantly, material lists are also included, so you can price the project from the start. This ensures that you are buying a design that is ready-to-build rather than a schematic that requires further work.
