A renovation of a communist studio in a central location in Bucharest, the brief required converting the space into an apartment. The living space is partitioned in spaces: a day space and a sleeping space. By adding a singular element, a glass partition wall, it became possible to completely overhaul the existing functionality.
The wooden floor is restored and the idea is continued with the use of wood on some of the existing elements to create a warm atmosphere.
Finally, a selection of art pieces and illumination bodies are brought in to give the space a more human touch.
